Green Wheels This Chinese stretched electric scooter can accommodate 12 people

China, known to dazzle the world with their technology, is now also sending waves through their innovation and creativity. An exhibition in Hefei (capital of East China’s Anhui province) for household appliances showcased an electric scooter which can easily mistake for a limousine from a distance. It has been designed keeping in mind the requirement of conserving electricity and natural resources and can accommodate as many as 12 people.

It is 4.7 meters in length and irrespective of that, has two tires only. It is made by a company called ‘China Lanbei’ from Zhejiang Province which are known for making all sorts of scooters and bikes.

It has been exported to some European countries and is being priced around 150,000 yuan ($23, 000).

It weighs about a ton and gives an impressive mileage of 400 km once it has been fully charged. This innovation has been brought into action because it is the need of the hour as China regularly suffers from horrible traffic snarls.

If this new innovation works, it will not be long before normal people also start commuting by limousines. Make space and keep an eye out for this poor man’s limousine.
